The staff at Price-Harris wishes to thank parents and volunteers for making this year great! We wish the 4 retiring P-H people the best for next year: Diane Seals, principal; Kathy Young, secretary; Donna Schroer, ESOL teacher; and Joy Jones, Interrelated para. We will miss them! We're excited for our new principal: Mr. Shawn Springer! Next year is going to be wonderful! The 1st day of school is August 14.

Computer Lab  

We finally have a new computer lab!  It is fantastic.  We have 24 machines that operate with XP.  Students have be doing Web-quests, research states, preparing for the state assessments, and just having fun! This year student's in 4th and 5th grades will be taking the State Assessments on computers.  We are practicing very hard.  

  

Library Club is finally go to happen this year!  Mrs. Aelmore is going to have a club to help take care of our beautiful new library.  Now we need new books to shelve!

Student Council is an honorary program at our school. Our leaders are Ms.Phillips,  Ms. Doyle and Mr. Debelek.  Student Council is also the only program that you have to get nominated for: the criteria is if you are a responsible person and a good leader, then you have the chance of getting picked by your peers and teachers. What we do in Student Council are things to help our community. 

Bingo Night

Student Council held a bingo night on February 3rd in our new gym.  It was a great night. There were over 300 people playing bingo, eating popcorn, drinking pop and having fun!  We hope to do it again!

Price Computer Lab:  Our computer lab at Price is now the Waterford computers.  Students have scheduled time each week to improve reading skills.  The lab will continue next year at Harris in the library.
