Magnet Theme

We are a magnet school meaning we have a special focus or emphasis to our school that makes Price-Harris unique.  

Our mission is to empower students to create and use meaningful communication for future success.

At Price-Harris, we build foundational soft skills in students that are important in any career or life path.

Whether that be, eye contact, speaking, listening or communicating effectively. No matter the career a child chooses, our students learn these core skills that will allow them to succeed in that field.

The curriculum at Price-Harris aligns with the Wichita Public School district and the Kansas College and Career Standards.

Although communications can encompass a variety of skills and topics, our focus is on the communication skills students need to be successful in any future career.

The three pillars of our magnet theme include interpersonal skills, information gathering, and delivering a message.

We are preparing our students for an ever-changing world, but the basics of interacting with people and delivering clear and concise messages are timeless.
